| This was a project I had originally undertaken simply to prove to myself that I could, in fact, do it. A poem about alliteration, using alliteration of the entire alphabet with one letter per line. I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I did writing it. |

wet and woody. Takes me back to the Catskills.
I remember walks at the woods' edge. The crunch of leaves and twigs underfoot.
The old, wood cabin; sturdy and warm. It smelled of the past, and of autumn nights.
I wish I could go back to those perfect nights. When the breeze blew and made the curtains flutter in the streetlights.
I remember every sight every smell, every sound. I remember the feelings. I will never forget them.

Closed-Circuit ManThere is a manClosed-Circuit Man
behind a camera who watches the world
through closed-circuit eyes.
For this man the world is there saved in black and white no shades of gray in his life.
It must be nice to see both sides with such crystal clarity, to understand it all so well.
Or so he thinks.
To see those subtle shades is often more important than to see the rest, the extremes.
They're called the extremes for a very good reason, most people fall in the middle

CandyDelicious candy packed tight in tiny pumpkins, clutched by ghouls and ghosts and goblins. The zombies have the advantage; dangling bandages perfect for wiping chocolate smears from tiny fingers.Candy
Doling out lollipops to the waiting trick-or-treaters and silky sweet chocolate, though some are a bit nutty. Grinning faces reach for the candy bowl, but I'm unsure
of the snickers. There's something funny about them.

his steps growing all the more erratic as he makes his way to the bathroom. His heart, a timpani drum pounding forcefully in his ears, echoing down to the pit of his soul. Four new cuts today, his score, a reminder of what can't be recalled from the inky blackness of yesterday. Bloodshot eyes follow a razor blade slowly moving towards his neck to scrape away the tiny city of hair that has decided to call him home.
